Thanks for the thread!You don't actually 'have' to connect your steam account to, I tried on a new bethesda aaccount and it was able to login with easy; I guess bethesda's servers aren't use to the influx of people.NMM is optional, the in-game mod manager actually sets your plugins for you, just like NMM; although, Nexus Mod Manager is a better alternative, since It's able to install and uninstall mods better than using Bethesda's in-game load order manager, and mod manager.There shouldn't really be any conflicts, but bethesda's websites sometimes fails to install some assets.
